B & J Coins, LLC has been in business for over 35 years. We have been at our current location in Verona in the Food Lion Shopping Center for 14 years. B & J Coins, LLC is a member of the Better Business Bureau and the American Numismatic Association. We are also life members of the Virginia Numismatic Association and the Shenandoah Valley Coin Club.

We offer numerous supplies for coin collectors of all ages. We specialize in collectible U.S. coins and currency, including many rare and unique pieces. Customers can look at raw or certified examples. For our bullion collectors, we have a complete selection of American Silver Eagles and many other gold and silver bullion items. We also have a selection of sports cards and supplies for our card collecting enthusiasts.

We enjoy helping our customers complete their collections and wish lists, and finding that last piece they need. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service. We offer free appraisals and are able to do estate appraisals.

Jim has been an avid coin collector since 1962 and has a large collection of Staunton tokens, postcards and paper money. Jim graduated from Valley Vo-Tech and has been a Representative of WoodmenLife for over 35 years. He offers all types of life insurance, annuities and provides estate planning. He has been designated a Fraternal Insurance Counselor Fellow. He is an avid hunter and enjoys the outdoors. He is a member of the White-tailed Deer Hunter’s Association and a life member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. He has been watching wrestling and attending matches since 1956. He is a member of the Virginia Numismatic Association and the Shenandoah Valley Coin Club.
He has been a member of Parkway Wesleyan and Emanuel Wesleyan Church since 1963 and has served in numerous offices and positions with them.

Doug Ryder

Doug is a graduate of Robert E. Lee and served in the US Army for almost 10 years as a Tank Commander and Army Recruiter. He retired from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation several years ago and moved back home with his wife of over 30 years. He enjoys all things Star Wars, Star Trek and the Miami Dolphins. He also enjoys going bird watching.
